Meet Chef Marquise Allen
Hello, the pleasure is mine, I am Chef Marquise and I’m all about using food to bridge the gap between strangers all over. Being in this industry for the past 12 years has allowed me to develop a style unlike no others that I aim to bring to the comfort of your home.
Born a Brooklyn native, I got my first taste of the food industry working in a small local cafe in my neighborhood. It gave me a sneak peek into how to cook and create, but it also gave me a chance to interact with people on a different level so that by the time I’d left the cafe I had already known majority of my neighbors within in 3 block radius. That neighborly local feeling is what pushed me into this field even more. From there I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Penn State University, while also working my way through every kitchen in State College, Pennsylvania.
After graduating I would then continue my active hands-on learning through the many high-end fine dining restaurants of New York City for the next 5 years gaining my sense of self and my own style in the process. Fast forward to now, I have been a proud resident of Georgia, working fine dining establishments and smokehouses alike for the past 4 years and now wish to bring the restaurant directly to you.
Now an Executive Chef I can say that my journey in the restaurant industry has been anything but ordinary, actually a lot of the more defining moments have been completely spontaneous, but through it all one thing has remained constant. My passion for cooking and my dedication to the craft. The bonding and universal love for food is like a language spoken by all cultures, connecting us all through shared experiences, memories, and flavors. I can’t wait to connect with you and make some new memories!
